Welcome to Woodlands Football Club

The home of girls football in Derby! Based in Allestree, Woodlands has been supporting girls to play football since 2007. We have upwards of 150 girls playing across all age ranges and are always looking to welcome more players into the club

Our teams compete in the Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League as well as the Nottinghamshire Girls and Ladies League and have a proud history of success in league and cup competitions. For further information on our teams, click here

As a club our aim is quite simple – to give everyone the opportunity to play and enjoy football regardless of their skills and experience. All of our players have the opportunity progress through all age ranges and on to senior ladies football within our club structure. We’re incredibly proud of all of our current and past players

Woodlands, like most grassroots clubs is run solely by volunteers for the benefit of our players. If you could help in anyway, please get in touch as we always need assistance!

Woodlands are proud to have achieved The FA Charter Standard by demonstrating we offer well-run and sustainable football. We are proud to have qualified coaches and prioritise safeguarding, as well as the values of The FA’s Respect programme as part of the club.

The FA Charter Standard Programme is The FA’s accreditation scheme open to all grassroots clubs. It aims to raise standards in the grassroots game through supporting the development of clubs and leagues. It also recognises and rewards commitment, quality and achievement.
